The 9mm Rubber Gun is a training tool for self-defense classes. While it (thankfully) doesn't shoot rubber bullets, this fake gun is good learning disarming techniques. You see, while teaching your students how to disarm a handgun-wielding opponent, it helps when the "assailant" has a gun that is fake, but still has a realistic look and feel. This way, your students won't be thrown off by the different feel when they are actually attacked by an actual mugger and not an actor secretly hired by their overzealous sensei to test their skills on the street.
With an 8" overall length and 3.75" handle, this training gun resembles many 9mm pistols that you might find at your local gun shop. Unlike those real guns, this training gun has no trigger and even has a red cap screwed into the end. The realistic look is useful in role-playing and in making your students believe for just a moment that this is totally a real gun and they need to get their adrenaline in high gear.
