Are you a child or small-armed adult? Then the Wooden Youth Tonfa are the perfect tonfa for you. These sturdy natural wood tonfa are crafted from select hardwood and sized perfectly for youngsters just getting started in the sport.
These ergonomically designed wooden tonfa have an overall length of 14 inches. The handle connects about five inches in. Most schools prefer tonfa to extend about half an inch past your elbow when you're grasping the 4" handle. As long as the length from your thumb to your elbow is around 8 and a half inches, you're golden. Make sure to consult your instructor when choosing the size of your tonfa, though.
This hardwood tonfa is cut from two pieces of solid hardwood. The handle has an indented 3/4" pommel that helps you avoid slippage. The tonfa is made with a traditional round design.
